Smallest pet bird you can adopt?

What are some of the smallest birds you can adopt as pets? I would love a group of birds to put in a cage together. But, what are the smallest pet birds out there? I figure lovebirds are tiny birds, but are they the smallest birds you can get as pets?

Probably a finch or a canary. I had a couple canaries when I was a kid, and I remember going on vacation with my parents, and then coming home to no birds. It was weird. But yeah, I remember having canaries for a brief time, and they were awesome. I loved when they chirped their songs. I've always wanted a finch though.

Well a zebra finch is really tiny but parrot wise a parrotlet is small.
