Can you train mice and rats not to poo/urinate on you?

So, I want to get another pet that likes to climb you. I was thinking a mouse, as I heard they're cute and love to climb on people if trained well. I'm also considering a rat, as I hear they're fun shoulder partners lol. But, I just don't want them to urinate or defecate on me. Is there a way to train them only to use the bathroom when they're in their cages? I wonder if there is a way they can get my attention to put them back in their cage.

I think I can answer for the mice.
Which is no. I don't believe you can litter-train them and such. I believe they just go when they need/want to.

I have no idea about rats though :)

(Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the mice)

You can actually litter train rats. I've heard people who have done it. Of course, this doesn't mean they won't defecate on you, they may still do that. Especially if they get spooked for any reason.
