Can birds be trained? If yes, how?

I know about dogs and cats. What about birds? Can they be trained to respond to basic commands? Like: sit, come, sing etc.

Do we have bird trainers?

Sure, any pet can be trained. Just that the processes differ. You cannot apply dog training tricks and tips to birds.
But some things remain the same, like rewarding the pet. You need to have some reward system for the actions that the pet does. With time it will learn how to do that action because it will know that it will receive a reward ( it can bee food or petting).

For sure, birds are some of the smartest animals around, and can be trained. I've been wanting to get a Caique, which is like a parrot. They can be trained to do tricks, roll around and so much more. Plus they live a fairly long time. :)

A crow is an extremely smart animal , and majority of birds have the tendency to learn new moves.
